This item is believed to be from the early Showa era. It was used by my great-grandmother (born in 1897) for shamisen and chanting practice. It has two drawers, perfect for storing instruments and small items. The material is paulownia wood. It can be restored to its original beauty with some planing. The red stand is shown with the cover removed. Thank you!
