I'm getting rid of my Canon PV1 video camera, which I was using, as it has reached the end of its life. While sorting through the box for disposal, I found the included WL-D71 remote control. It's unused. I can't guarantee that it works, but I opened it up, put batteries in the remote, and confirmed that the infrared light emits (see photo 5).
