It's a timeless classic that never goes out of style, said to bring happiness from all six directions. From a distance, it may appear plain, but it has been a very popular pattern since the Showa era, often used for men's ensemble kimono fabric. Oshima Tsumugi is a fabric that has been passed down in Japan since ancient times, and is coveted by all kimono enthusiasts. As a stole, it can be worn casually by men and women of all ages. This time, we made it from leftover fabric, so we have made it available at an affordable price. The edges of the stole are finished with a picot stitch. It was made from fabric in its original bolt form. (Please note that the fabric used here is antique.)
