Wooden castanets purchased about 40 years ago. Bought for 7,300 yen from the instructor I was learning from at the time. The sound is good because they are made of wood. These castanets have a rare rounded shape without the sharp corners of those currently sold. I hope they catch the eye of someone knowledgeable about castanets. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but I've marked them as "slightly scratched or stained" due to their age.
