I made a goshuincho (temple stamp book) case from a scrap of 9-mark white Oshima Tsumugi silk fabric. It's a simple design without a closure button for easy access. I use one myself, and since it's pure silk, it slides easily into my bag and is quite convenient. A thin interfacing is applied to the Oshima fabric. The lining uses the lining of a haori (traditional Japanese jacket). Both the Oshima fabric and the haori lining have original fold wrinkles. I think it could also be used as a fukusa (ceremonial cloth) for celebrations. A goshuincho with dimensions of 18.5cm x 12.5cm x 1.5cm will fit inside. Please refer to the fourth photo.
