Acrylic is melted by heat and sold as products of a specified thickness. Our products are laser-processed, so the cross-section is close to a mirror finish due to the effects of heat. If you cut with a saw or cutter, the cross-section will be cloudy and microplastics will remain. Similarly, edge rounding may leave microplastics because it involves shaving the corners. In the case of lasers, it is a heat treatment, so the cross-section is similar to the surface finish, and there is almost no residue of microplastics, so you can use it with confidence.
