Hōetsu, one of the highest-grade mahjong tiles among Mizuno Maruichi's offerings. Weighing over 15g per tile, it boasts an overwhelming sense of weight. These luxurious mahjong tiles, though showing some wear, come in a genuine leather vertical case. Mizuno Maruichi's unique manufacturing process results in carvings approximately twice as deep as standard tiles, eliminating concerns about color fading. Furthermore, the rounded backs of the tiles are uniform and designed to create an ideal arc, preventing them from collapsing when stacked. Four spare tiles are also included, unused. Tile size is approximately 26mm (height) x 19mm (width) x 16mm (thickness). The scoring quick reference chart is faded. Please consider it as a bonus. The tiles themselves have no significant scratches or stains, and in my personal opinion, the condition is remarkably good for their age.
