They are peel-and-stick, with a transparent background and are water-resistant, so unlike water-transfer decals, they can withstand rain and minor wetness. *These are not cheap, low-quality products that will easily rub off or disappear when wet. (The second image in the reference photos is a "spaghetti logo," but the product is the transition logo, so please be assured.) How to Apply: Cut the decal to your desired size with the backing paper still attached, peel it off, and apply it while smoothing out any air bubbles with your finger. Then, gently warm it with a hairdryer, etc., to help it adhere. (Be careful not to overheat, as this can melt the paint or lacquer and negatively affect the wood of the headstock.) Initially, it will appear slightly milky, but it will become more transparent and blend in over time with the application of heat. Many high-value, real vintage Fender guitars have had their logos peel or wear off, and are often repaired with decals. However, if you are hesitant about applying a Fender decal, please refrain from purchasing. (Please look for a Fender neck with the original logo intact.)
