This is a piece of fabric with an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern, taken from a disassembled kimono. The fabric is a combination of hemp and cotton yarn stripes, with a sheer, airy feel like a gauze, making it cool to the touch. The asanoha pattern is a large-scale kanoko (spotted) design that fills the fabric width. There are some yellowing and brown stains in a somewhat concentrated area. It has been washed, but no stain removal treatment has been done.
