Well-worn, blue-toned sea glass washed up on the beach in Nagasaki. These are in their natural state, smoothed by the waves, and have not been processed, colored, or polished. Sea glass is fragments of glass that have been smoothed by the ocean's waves over many years, and because of its beauty, it is also called "mermaid's tears." It has the stone meanings of "miracle, encounter, bond, vitality" and "meeting the person you were truly meant to meet." After washing, they have been dried in the sun. The size is photographed with a ruler for comparison, so please use it as a reference. Sea glass that has been smoothed by the waves and is dry is beautiful, but when wet, it sparkles and becomes transparent, revealing a different kind of beauty.
