I purchased this from an antique shop about 15 years ago. The owner was a young person, and it was a wonderful shop, but unfortunately, it closed down quite a while ago. At the time, I was interested in religious antiques and collected them. I was drawn to this brass statue of Mary, and I bought it because of its beautiful, fine details. I am selling it now as part of a decluttering effort. I will also set the price low. I think the face is beautiful and the dignified standing pose is lovely. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection, as this is an old item. Please purchase only if you understand everything.
