The fabric isn't particularly designed for heavy insulation, so I don't think this is the kind of coat you'd wear on its own in the dead of winter. I think it would be good to layer a sweater or something underneath. Lately, there are a lot of places with heating even outside, so I personally think it's just right, as it doesn't get too hot. I liked the cute buttons, and they matched the navy blue fabric. Overall, there's a sense of wear, but I don't see any noticeable scratches or stains. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing. Color...Blue
