Made in Japan. The radio can receive both AM and FM without an antenna, but it took some time to start receiving when I turned it on after a long time. The timer and clock also work, but I haven't checked their accuracy. Also, the alarm sound is strange, and I don't know if this is the sound it's supposed to make.
