For sale is an Athearn Genesis American Union Pacific Railroad BIG BOY steam locomotive (DCC sound). The model is of the 4005, from the oil-burning era. This is a large 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangement locomotive, measuring 47cm in length. The piping is very precisely detailed, and even the sand pipes are installed. After purchasing at auction, it has only been test-run. The DCC sound function is rich, including bells and the unique whistle of American locomotives (see photos). The original box and instruction manual are included. There are no scratches or damage to the body, but please refrain from bidding if you are concerned about minor scratches.
