This is an old Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowl. It features a beautiful peony and sparrow maki-e design on aged vermilion lacquer. While there isn't much evidence of use, there are some extremely fine cracks in the lacquer as shown in the images. The size is 12.5 cm in diameter and 8.5 cm in height. There are a few minor scratches, but stock is available. Please understand that this is an antique item.
