These are sai, used in Ryukyu Kobudo. They are magnetic, so they are likely made of iron. It's rare, but both are exactly the same weight. They are sized for elementary/middle school students to adult women. The grip is made a little longer, so instructors can hold them and demonstrate techniques without issue.
