This is a vase finished with a reddish-brown paint, rather than metal. The body of the vase recreates the hammered texture often found on copper products. The paint is applied to the inside of the top, about one-third of the way down (the visible area when looking inside). I believe it is in beautiful condition, with no noticeable scratches or damage. It would make a lovely interior decoration as is. It has an antique feel and a unique design.
