This is a valuable record compiling the raw testimonies of people who lived in Edo. It's a hardcover book with easy-to-read type, making it a great book for delving into historical exploration. I found the anecdotes of the Oniwaban (secret agents) and the Ooku (women's quarters) particularly interesting. *There are no writings or markings. However, as shown in the photos, the cover has some minor stains from home storage.
