The large pockets on both sides have double zippers and are easy to open and close even with gloves on, thanks to the pull tabs. The inner lining is fleece. It's a luxurious construction with 90% down and 10% feather. There are utility pockets on both sides of the inner lining. The cuffs are Velcro, and the hem can be adjusted with a drawcord. The hood is removable with snap buttons. I went out in midwinter, but it was warm enough with just a sweatshirt underneath. I usually wear size L, but I wore XL for this outerwear, and it didn't feel particularly too big. It looks great oversized, like a monster parka.
