Scalloped nut (Gibson type). The material is unbleached cow bone, oiled since around March. String spacing is approximately 7mm. Please check the photos for width and thickness. This is a scalloped nut, famous for being used on original Zemaitis guitars from when Mr. Zemaitis himself was making them, as well as on GLAY's HISASHI signature model. Even if you don't own a signature Zemaitis, replacing your nut with this one will allow you to get closer to the look and sound of the original. For Les Paul and SG Gibson users, this unbleached version will blend in visually, and you should also be able to feel the sound separation effect of the scalloping. It can be installed on most Gibson and Zemaitis guitars without major modifications. Note that the HISASHI signature model has a nut width of 42mm, but most other models are 43mm, so this is recommended.
