In addition to the original specifications of a small head, narrow neck, ADJ, and all-mahogany construction, it's equipped with a passive pickup, making it a ready-to-play instrument despite its vintage appearance. Unlike the muffled sound often associated with wooden saddles, this guitar has excellent resonance, is percussive, and has a strong attack. Yet, it still has plenty of overtones.
