This pot is perfect for pasta, as well as stews, curries, cabbage rolls, and oden (a Japanese hot pot). The strainer has a double bottom, and when the upper bottom is set at a mid-height, it can be used as a steamer (see photo 4). It's great for steamed egg custard, pudding, and healthy steamed dishes. The gold handles give it a luxurious feel.
