Size: Diameter: approx. 19cm Height: approx. 15cm Accessories: Original box, cloth, guide, paper box (Chasen (tea whisk) not included) Shipping: Planned for a 100-size cardboard box This is a used item. In good condition, no damage. I filled it with water for several hours before listing, and there were no leaks. This is a mizusashi (water container) with a written inscription from the Urasenke school's head, Hounosai Soshu. Made by Mitsuru Tezuka of Kyoto ware. Floral and geometric patterns are drawn within circular windows, arranged around the body. There are a total of 10 different designs, starting with plum blossoms and going counterclockwise: seigaiha (wave) pattern, cherry blossoms, hydrangea, pinks, chrysanthemums, geometric patterns, autumn leaves, paulownia, and bamboo. I accidentally took the photos in the reverse order, so the plum blossoms ended up last. My apologies. The seasonal flowers depicted allow for year-round use. However, the mouth is quite wide, so I think it might be better suited for warmer seasons rather than colder ones. I believe it is a vividly colored, yet refreshing and beautiful mizusashi. I might sound biased (lol), but I think it has a better aura than the photos suggest. Shipping is planned for a 100-size cardboard box. Thank you very much.
