This instrument was given to me by an acquaintance some time ago, but the maker is unknown. When I had it voiced, it was said that it was clearly not from a mass-production manufacturer, but rather from a Japanese individual craftsman. The maker's name was mentioned, but I'm not certain, so I'll keep the name confidential. The low register resonates very well, and it's a very resonant instrument overall. As for the material, I believe it's either grenadilla or rosewood, but it's uncertain.
