This is an adapter for converting M42 screw mount lenses to Sony NEX E-mount. This mount adapter alone will not achieve infinity focus. Lenses made for film cameras and SLR cameras (old lenses) have a different flange focal distance compared to current mirrorless cameras, and due to optical design, infinity focus is not possible. This product is intended for those who plan to use a M42 to M42 helicoid adapter or similar between this adapter and the lens, and who will build or customize the adapter themselves. This product is for those who are somewhat experienced with using old lenses. Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to insufficient research, such as not being able to attach the lens or not achieving infinity focus.
