◎ This is a Z model Tornado by Morris. It's a Japanese-made guitar from the early 80s, with an original price of 100,000 yen. The serial number is 801××. It has a solid top, a 3-piece maple neck, and oriental flower position markers. It's an electric-acoustic type. The color is a deep purple that appears black depending on the angle (see images). Both the neck and body are very well-made and solid (see images). In terms of sound, this is subjective, but it has rich overtones, good volume, and long sustain, making it a resonant guitar. ◎ Regarding the condition, the top of the body has many strumming scratches (see images), a small dent on the left side of the top (see images), and scratches on the lower part of the top and sides (see images). The back of the body and the back of the neck are in good condition (see images). Other than that, there are a few very small scratches and very light scuffs, but there are no major scratches, cracks, or damage, and overall, it's in good condition for its age (see images). The metal parts, such as the tuning pegs, show signs of metal fatigue, dullness, and discoloration (see images). The frets also show some metal fatigue, dullness, discoloration, and slight rust (see images). The fingerboard has light playing marks and dirt (see images). The strings have been replaced with new ones. The nut appears to have been replaced, and the string height on the nut side may be slightly high (see images). ◎ The neck has no warping. The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string (with a 1-yen coin fitting with some room) and approximately 2.0mm on the 1st string (with a 1-yen coin fitting with a little room). The frets have wear of about 30-40% in some places (this is just an estimate), with 60-70% remaining, mainly worn in the shape of the strings. The pickup circuit works fine, but there is some crackling when turning the knob to switch it on; there are no issues during use.
