Currently, we are accepting orders for two types: Joint Yaen and Joint Yaen Prototype. 【Joint Yaen】 By adding another lifting mechanism to the conventional flip-up Yaen, a new two-stage flip-up Yaen has been created. This manual-style Yaen allows anglers to fully enjoy the fun of setting the hook with its unique shape that flips up to envelop the squid. Designed specifically for autumn Aori squid, targeting squid within 700g, it boasted a high squid capture rate in field tests in the fall of 2025. 【Joint Yaen Prototype】 Based on the Joint Yaen, the positions of the support and fulcrum were reversed to allow the lifting torque at the time of the hookset to be transmitted directly to the hook tip. Theoretically, it is an enhanced version of the flip-up Yaen, and we have high expectations for it, but since there is no field test data yet, it is labeled as a prototype. Prototype, the name sounds cool, doesn't it? Both weigh around 7g and are ultra-lightweight, with a total length of about 30cm.
