Purchased in Paris in the 70s. A unique leather belt in the shape of a hand. A rare, early, and heavy cast piece. Believed to be the work of French sculptor Georges Mailiard. Each hand is approximately 13 x 6.7 cm. It's made of bronze or possibly true iron, but I'm not sure. It's a solid construction and in very wearable condition. There is some aging, but its beauty is not diminished. It can be polished to a shine, but I've chosen to sell it with this texture. It can be easily attached to any belt.
