This is an antique obi. It is said to have been made when my mother, who is now the head of the school, obtained her natori (stage name).
As shown in images 11 and 12, there are a few places where threads are protruding, but they will not unravel if pulled.
There are small stains as shown in images 13, 14, and 15. Because it is a very sparkly obi, they are not very noticeable even when viewed up close. They are completely unnoticeable from a distance. (Perceptions may vary, so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly sensitive.)
The reverse side shows its age. There are also some stains in several places, as shown in images 16, 17, and 18.
It can be used for susohiki (trailing skirts) and other purposes with some creativity.
