I think it can probably be removed with a special cleaner. I wore them about 3 times after purchase, and the heel wear on the soles is relatively minor. However, they are used, so there is some wear and tear that may not be fully conveyed in the photos. I lost the original insoles that came with them, so I'm currently using aftermarket ones. I purchased them about 3 years ago, but I've forgotten where I bought them. No returns or exchanges to prevent swapping. I'm also open to price negotiations, so feel free to comment.
