I believe it's from about 20 years ago. The outside of the wooden box shows some age. Please see the photos. We were talking as a family about how it might become valuable in the future... but since we don't use Japanese tableware, I'm offering it for sale to someone who will appreciate it. Although unused, it's old, so I've categorized it as "near new." Please consider this item with the understanding that it has been stored at home for a long time.
