Ageless (oxygen absorber) creates an oxygen-free pack. Air is composed of approximately 80% nitrogen and approximately 20% oxygen. Ageless absorbs only oxygen from the air, but does not absorb approximately 80% nitrogen. Therefore, the bag may not shrink as it would in vacuum packing.
