Although it is new, there may be scratches from the modification process or pre-existing ones. The shaft is carbon, and the frame is aluminum. I tested it, and it felt fine to use without any particular issues. However, since the frame is not carbon, the head felt a bit heavy. The strings have been replaced with blue ones.
