I bought this for my child because their backpack was heavy and their shoulders hurt. This is a handmade item, and it's well-made and thick, which helped to reduce shoulder pain. It has Velcro, so you can wrap it around the shoulder straps of the backpack and attach it. There is some fading, stains, pilling, and fraying due to use, but I think it can still be used.
