I purchased this about 10 years ago at an antique shop in Sendai. In the shop, a pair of blue scissors was inserted in the middle of a rolled-up string, and I was drawn to its cuteness and bought it. As it is old, there are some paint chips and small, inconspicuous scratches on the metal parts. I myself have kept it in a box because I felt it was too precious to use.
