This is an 8-inch, round-mouthed vase with a "Namawari Kachou" (wave-cut floral bird) pattern from the Sazaemon Kiln of Arita ware. It can be displayed as a flower vase or an ornamental pot. The vibrant coloring and gold accents of Imari ware make it look very luxurious. It would also look lovely displayed in a Japanese-style room alcove, a reception room, or an entryway.
