This item was purchased over 30 years ago from a shop that specialized in Scandinavian embroidery. New items arrived weekly from Denmark, and the shop was always overflowing with fresh goods. I went almost every week and bought embroidery pieces from Denmark and Sweden. I am now selling items from my collection as part of a decluttering effort. As these are vintage items, I have selected pieces that are beautiful, of good quality, and that I love, so I believe they are all in relatively good condition. Please be aware that some items may have the unique smell, fraying, or stains characteristic of aged fabric. Each piece was made with great care and is wonderful. The owner of the shop started it with the desire to share the beauty of Danish embroidery in Japan. Unfortunately, the shop closed over 10 years ago. This is a vintage Danish wall hanging featuring embroidered furniture from the town of Belpoul. It was created in 1970. The colorful and cheerful design and color scheme are sure to let you enjoy the Scandinavian atmosphere! Considering the time it must have taken to embroider this...
