Based on details such as the short handles, narrow handle spacing, three stitches on the underside of the handles, and the Giza tag, this is believed to be an early to mid-80s L.L.Bean. I believe these are details that clearly identify it as a vintage L.L.Bean tote. I purchased this item as purple, but it has a cobalt-like color with a strong bluish tint. Also, the color of the side lines and the bottom are different, creating a two-tone effect. It may be difficult to tell from the images, but I think it's more of a blue-purple than a dark navy. Since the color is subjective, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about such details. As this is a used item, there are signs of wear such as stains, dirt, yellowing, fading, scuffs, scuffing on the bottom corners, and fraying of stitches. Please check the images. There is a tear in a part of the four corners of the bottom. Subjectively, I believe it is in relatively good condition overall. It is becoming difficult to find purple totes in this condition.
