Thank you for viewing! This is an antique fukusa (a small cloth used in tea ceremonies) with a safflower pattern, made by Nitta, a weaver in Yonezawa. It is also dyed with safflower. The cream color harmonizes well with any color of kimono, and I think it's beautiful. This item has been stored for a long time, but it is in beautiful condition with no scratches or stains.
