Its purpose is simple: to look through it and roughly confirm the 35mm focal length. You can manually adjust for parallax. The exterior has a few small scratches, but considering its age, it's in relatively good condition. The optics have some wiping marks, but are clear with no mold or fogging. There is no noticeable dust. The condition is judged only by a layman's eye, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
