This item was purchased over half a century ago, but I didn't have a shelf to display it on, so I kept it stored in its box at home. It's a work by a renowned traditional craftsman, so I hope it catches the eye of someone who appreciates it. The name "Toyoaki" is often found on the back of the plate or written (carved) on the box and the brief history, but I rarely see it carved on the front, so I think it's valuable. I was taught at the time that the color of Tsuishu changes and gains character the more you use it, but I think this plate is probably the same color as it was then. The outer box is over half a century old and shows considerable aging, but it's not broken, so I will send it as is if you don't mind.
