This isn't driftwood, but the root of a tree that fell from the mountains to the coast. I dug it out of the sand and brought it home to use as the base for a 3-tiered cat tree. I don't know what kind of wood the base is, but I've used natural wood (hinoki for the top and third tier, and kaizuka ibuki for the second tier). Size: Maximum height: Approximately 92cm Maximum width: Approximately 63cm Top board: Approximately 45cm x maximum width approximately 31cm Second tier: Maximum width approximately 20cm Third tier: Approximately 35cm x 25cm Due to the size of the product, and to keep it within the 200 size for shipping, the top board has been removed. You will need to assemble it yourself. It can be fixed by tightening two screws with a Phillips screwdriver. The base is not perfectly flat, so a black circular rubber piece has been attached to the bottom in one place to adjust and stabilize it. Finally, as shown in the attached photos, this product was made by painstakingly digging out the roots buried deep in the sandy beach. The unique grain of the wood in the base and pillars gives it a distinctive character, and I think it would be a good addition to your interior decor. Please feel free to ask any questions.
