The included fixing screw is for 10mm shafts, so if you are attaching it to an 8mm shaft, you will need to prepare and change to a longer fixing screw separately. The shaft diameter of tying vises is often around 8mm to 10mm. Many overseas-made thin shafts are about 5/16" (7.938mm), which is about 8mm. Many shafts of general size are 3/8" (9.53mm) in diameter. Please measure the size of the shaft you will be attaching it to before purchasing. This product does not come with packaging.
