This is a diorama using the 1/380 scale MS-09 Dom Gunpla. It's the smallest Gunpla in the color-molded series. The base is a 30cm x 20cm photo frame with clay, and I used scenic texture to create a desert. I used dry brushing to express a three-dimensional arid zone. For the background, I painted bark chips with paint and then dry brushed them to create the appearance of a sheer cliff and a rocky area buried in sand. The Dom itself was partially brush-painted, with colors close to the original. I applied weathering color to the feet to create sand stains. Around the Dom, I fixed fluffed felt to express the scene of it ascending vertically while kicking up sand. The 1-yen coin is for comparison.
