The Zefram Pedal, an effect pedal by Paul Cochrane (Paul C. Audio), following the Timmy. It features a 3-way switch for switching between clean boost, overdrive, and distortion, along with controls for BASS, MID, TREBLE, GAIN, and VOLUME, plus a 3-way cut switch, making it suitable for a wide range of guitar styles and amplifiers. The distortion doesn't go to extreme levels of distortion, but it produces incredibly pleasing sounds in any position. MID and BASS are active controls, and their combination provides a very unique control over the signal flowing into the Gain circuit, which then saturates the output in a natural way, delivering excellent sound in any position. TRE is a passive control, and along with the 3-way Cut switch, allows for final adjustments to match the speaker, environment, and amplifier. It's a very innovative design, yet thoughtfully considered for guitarists.
