This is a custom-made guitar by the renowned British luthier, Simon Ambridge. I placed a direct order and waited two years for it. I already owned an Ambridge guitar with a 650mm scale rosewood back, so this time I requested a German spruce top, Brazilian rosewood sides and back, a Hauser-style headstock, Rogers tuning machines, a 640mm scale length suitable for Japanese players, and a 20-fret design. This is the style that Simon Ambridge made for Shoji Tsuda, a master guitarist from Japan and a colleague of mine. Ambridge himself called it the "Tsuda Model" and included it in his production list. I had a small position marker added at the 7th fret. Simon Ambridge's guitars have an internal structure and overall design similar to Hauser I, with a sound that is like Hauser but with a Spanish touch, characterized by a resonant, woody tone and a rich volume. Mr. Tsuda, of course, later moved on to Hauser guitars. This instrument has a compact body that fits snugly against the body, giving you a comfortable playing experience. It has a French polish finish with shellac. You can find many glowing reviews of this luthier online. The condition is classified as new or unused. The only thing to note is that the top's wood grain may appear uneven in color depending on the lighting, so please refrain from purchasing if you are a perfectionist.
