The Fly Creek's main advantage is its lightweight and compact design despite being a semi-freestanding double-wall tent. The extremely thin fabric allows you to lighten and downsize your entire load. The frame uses reliable DAC poles. Most tents you see in the mountains are primary colors like green, blue, orange, or yellow, so this tent is a good choice because it's easily recognizable. The front entrance has a double zipper for ventilation. The inner tent is solid, not mesh, so it can be used regardless of the season. There is some deterioration and dirt from use. Some seam tape has slightly lifted (but not peeled off). There is no coating peeling or stickiness, but it feels slightly damp when first used. The frame is undamaged, and the shock cords are not loose. I purchased it several years ago and have used it to some extent, so there are soil stains on the ground sheet, but I have washed it before listing. There are no tears.
