This is a claw tool. I think it has various uses. I use it as a scraping tool for narrow spaces, such as removing sealant debris from gaps. It's convenient, so I make them. I often see people making them by bending screwdrivers, but those are often weak and can't get into narrow joints. This one is strong and easy to hook and pull. Please give it a try.
