This is a white elephant pedestal object I purchased several years ago from an imported goods store. When displayed in a Western-style room, it creates a nice atmosphere and adds a sense of luxury. Elephants are considered auspicious animals and are said to symbolize "stability" and "trust." It is also said that displaying elephant items brings good fortune and support. The material seems to be ceramic, but the details are unknown. (I don't think it's made of pottery like a vase.) It's not too big, so it's easy for women to carry. I think it's rare to find a pure white elephant with its trunk raised. Material... Unknown
