Length (from shoulder peak)...160-164cm This is a brand new, unused single-layer tsumugi (pongee) kimono with a pinwheel-like pattern. The pattern is woven with lines that appear to be black on a salmon pink background. The lines are not sharp, but rather the blurred lines characteristic of tsumugi, so they also look like charcoal gray. Size, approx., cm Shoulder-to-shoulder length: 160 Sleeve length: 66 Sleeve length: 49 Front width: 24 Back width: 28 Silk Bat-wing collar Hand-sewn It is brand new and unused, and has been stored in a paulownia chest. As shown in photos 2, 3, and 4, there are no stains on the sleeves, collar, or cuffs. Also, there are no visible scratches or stains overall, but there are traces of the sleeve length having been adjusted. Moreover, it seems that the adjustment was not made from the entire sleeve, but rather from a triangle shape from the shoulder of the body. You can tell by following the pattern, but the shoulder is about 3.3cm longer (photo 5). My elderly relative has a sleeve length of 63, and mine is 66, so I think they forgot to tell me that they had altered it so I could wear it. I am selling it because it has become too cute for me before I have even worn it. I hope that someone who doesn't mind the "as-is" condition will wear it, or someone who can do Japanese tailoring and can fix it. I found the leftover fabric, and it turned out to be Ojiya weaving, hand-woven, and Hon-momen Yuki. The elderly relative who loves kimonos chose it, so it may be biased, but I think it is a very tasteful tsumugi. Although it is a brand new, unused tsumugi, I have marked it as "slightly damaged or stained" because it is a storage item with the sleeve length extended. The leftover fabric (approx. 37.3cm x 47cm) is also included. Photos 6, 7, and 8... The pink color came out strongly when I took the photos up close with my phone. The actual color is a more subdued salmon color.
